Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Pantomime, a desktop email client developed by Ulitus ("we", "us", or "our"). By installing or using Pantomime, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of the service

Pantomime is a native desktop application for macOS, Windows, and Linux that provides a graphical interface for your Gmail account. It accesses your Google account using OAuth 2.0 and stores email data locally on your device. An optional account is used for cross-device preference sync (snooze settings, task preferences, scheduled sends, and automation flows).

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Pantomime. By using the app, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Pantomime account credentials. You must not share your credentials or allow others to access your account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must provide a valid email address when creating an account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Pantomime to:

• Send spam, unsolicited messages, or bulk email in violation of applicable law
• Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service or connected systems
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application except as permitted by applicable law
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the application without our written permission
• Use the application in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our infrastructure

5. Google account access

Pantomime accesses your Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Contacts, Google Tasks, and Google Drive (metadata only) using Google OAuth 2.0. By connecting your Google account, you authorize Pantomime to access your data solely for the purpose of operating the application on your behalf.

You can revoke Pantomime's access to your Google account at any time through your Google Account permissions page. Pantomime's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy , including the Limited Use requirements.

6. Trial and subscription

Pantomime is currently available as a free trial. Subscription pricing will be announced before the trial period ends. We will provide notice of any pricing changes before they take effect.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time with reasonable notice to users.

7. Intellectual property

Pantomime and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Ulitus and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of Pantomime without explicit written permission.

Your data — your emails, contacts, calendar events, and tasks — belongs to you. We claim no ownership over any content accessed through the application.

8. Privacy

Your use of Pantomime is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

Pantomime is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the application will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

We are not responsible for any loss of data, missed emails, or failed scheduled sends due to software errors, network failures, or third-party service outages. You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of important communications.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ulitus shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Pantomime, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of business opportunities.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of Pantomime shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

You may stop using Pantomime at any time by uninstalling the application and deleting your account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, with or without notice.

Upon termination, your right to use Pantomime ceases immediately. Sections covering intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Pantomime after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify users of material changes by email where possible.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the applicable jurisdiction.
